The disease has spread to some areas of Sindh and Punjab

It has done a lot of damage in Karachi.

The disease is caused by a virus called Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (LSDV).

Symptoms:

Fever,

Watery eyes,

 Runny nose,

Inflammation of the lymph nodes,

Loss of appetite,

Decreased milk production,

difficult for the animal to move,

Animals suffer from stress,

rashes appear on the skin, 

spread throughout the body. The rash is most noticeable on the animal's head, neck, fringe, animal, specific organs and legs.

Spread :

It can be spread from one animal to another by mosquitoes, eating a place of food, insect bites, drinking water in a manger.

Treatment:

Since the disease is caused by a virus, there is no specific cure However, medications can be used to reduce the severity of the disease.

Precautions:

Tie sick animals separately.

Don't bring new animals from outside.

Keep new animals aside for 21 days before bringing them to the farm.

Spray the farm with flies and mosquitoes.

Inject animals with ivermectin on time.

Keep food and water clean.
