How to get traffic to your website || free website traffic
1. Create great, useful content
It’s simple. Content is king. If you have GREAT content, then the other stuff – links, social shares etc. will come naturally and freely
I’m going to start by saying that you don’t need a plugin to create great content. You really don’t. If all you create is pretty articles that no one wants to read, then it really doesn’t serve your business much purpose. Instead, you should be creating content that your audience wants. This is the secret sauce for any marketing campaign and will attract people to your website regularly.
We know you’re busy and may not have a lot of time to work on your content. But there is 5 minutes you can use right now, and it is going to help you out big time when you write that next great blog post. There are 4 steps that I use before writing my next great WordPress blog post.
Content is king. Nope, this cliché doesn’t need any rewording. In reality, though, it is also the heart of search engine optimization. Just as a heart serves only one purpose (oxygenate blood to the tissues and organs), our content serves only one function – bring in search traffic. Great content alone will not bring you on top of SERPS. You should combine your great resources with some powerful SEO tactics in order to maximize your visibility and get the most out of them both.
2. Share all of your stuff on social media
As a blogger, it’s essential that you share your content on social media every day to expose it to relevant people. In this article, I’ll show you how you can start sharing your posts across all of your social networks.
The fastest way to get traffic, is to share your stuff on social media. Nowadays people find content on social media sites like facebook, twitter and pinterest. You can use shared plugins in WordPress or create your own shortlink to give them free content. This will help you gain followers who will share your content and you'll see an increase in organic traffic.
I used to share my articles on social media and I noticed a considerable increase in views. Share your articles, blog posts, and eBooks with people who are interested in the same topics you write about.
You may want to share all of your social media pages when someone comes to your website, but it can be overwhelming. That’s why I broke down all of the different ways you can contact me at the top of the homepage, allowing users to receive information via email and social media.
