How to delete Instagram account?

process.
How can I temporarily disable my Instagram account?
Whenever you want to delete your Instagram account, your
Profile, your photos, your videos, your comments, your likes and your followers
will be hidden until you re
activate your Instagram account by logging back in. You can disable your
Instagram account from a computer or mobile browser. You cannot temporarily disable
your account from the Instagram app.
Follow the following instruction to temporarily
disable your account:
From Computer:
1. Open
your browser and Log
in to instagram.com from a computer.
2.
Click on your profile picture on the top right corner and
click Profile, then click Edit profile.
3.
Scroll down to the bottom, then click Temporarily
disable my account in the bottom right corner.
4.
Select an option from the drop-down menu to Why are you
disabling your account? And enter your password. The option to disable
your Instagram account will appear when you will select a reason from the menu
and entered your password.
5.
Then Click on Temporarily disable account.
6.
That’s done.
From Mobile Browser:
1. Open your any internet
browser and go to Instagram.com and Log in to instagram.com from a mobile browser.
2.
Click on your profile picture on the bottom right corner and
click on Profile, then click Edit profile.
3.
Scroll down to the bottom, then click Temporarily
disable my account in the bottom right corner.
4.
Select an option from the drop-down menu to Why are you
disabling your account? And enter your password. The option to disable
your Instagram account will appear when you will select a reason from the menu
and entered your password.

How can I delete my Instagram account?

when your account has been deleted, you have
to sign up again with the same username or another username to another account
as long as it has not been taken by another new person on Instagram.
keep in mind that if your account has been
deleted by violating Community Guidelines, you will not be able to sign up again with the same username.
For security purpose, Instagram cannot delete
your account. You will be able to log in to your account to request deletion.
If you cannot remember your password or username to request the permanent
deletion of your account:
Before deleting your account, you may want to
log in and download a copy of your information from Instagram. After your account
has been deleted, you will not have access to Instagram Account’s Data Download
tool.
1. Go to the Delete your account Page
from a mobile browser or computer browser. If you aren't logged in to Instagram
on the web, you'll be asked to log in first.

Select an option from the
drop-down menu to Why are you disabling your account? And enter
your password. The option to disable your Instagram account will appear when
you will select a reason from the menu and entered your password.

Then Click on Delete.

If you want to delete a different account:
1. Click on the username
on the top right corner of the Delete
your account Page.
2.
Click or tap Setting Then Edit
profile and select Log out.

Log in as the account that you want to delete and follow the
directions mentioned above.
After 30 days of your request, your account
and all your information related to the account will be permanently deleted,
and you will never be able to retrieve your information. During those 30 days,
the content will not be accessible to other
peoples who are using Instagram.
It will take up to 90 days to complete the process.
Copies of your content will remain after the 90 days in backup storage that Instagram
use to recover in the event of any data loss event. Instagram will also keep
your information for legal issues, terms violations or harm prevention efforts.
How can I access or review my data on Instagram?
You can view your Instagram account data or download
a copy of data from Instagram at any time.
On Instagram app for Android and iPhone:
1.
Click on your profile picture on the bottom right corner and go
to your profile.
2.
Click on three bars on the top right corner, then click on Settings.
3.
Click on Security, then click Access data.
4.
To review data, Click View all.
Instagram.com from a computer:
1.
Click on your profile picture on the bottom right corner and go
to your profile.
2.
Click on Privacy and security.
3.
Scroll down to the option of Account data and
then click on View account data.
4.
To review data, click View all.
Instagram.com from a mobile browser:
1.
Click on your profile picture on the bottom right corner and go
to your profile.
2.
Click on three bars on the top right corner, then click on Settings.
3.
Click on Security, then click Download data.
4.
Enter your email address where you want to receive a link to
your data and click on Request download.
5.
Enter your Instagram account password and click Next,
then click Done.
6.
You will receive an email titled Your Instagram data with
a link. Click on Download data and follow the instructions to download
the data.
