Can sleeping under a tree at night really cause death?

Most of us have heard that we should not sleep under trees at night and sleeping under a tree at night can be fatal. Our elders used to tell jinns and ghosts the reason for this. Then we were introduced to science. He explained to us that trees take in carbon dioxide during the day and release oxygen and take in oxygen at night and release carbon dioxide. Sleeping at night can cause us to stop breathing and die.

But is it really so? Or is it a slander?

In fact, the cells of every living thing (CELLS) need energy to survive, and they use food and oxygen to make that energy. That is why humans, animals and plants need oxygen. This process of energy releases carbon dioxide, so when we inhale air, we take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide.

Plants can make their own food, using carbon dioxide from the air and water from the ground and sunlight to make their own food. This process is called photosynthesis. During this process, plants release oxygen. Plants also breathe during the process of photosynthesis, so oxygen is still consumed and carbon dioxide is emitted, but photosynthesis (PHOTOSYNTHESIS) Oxygen levels are high, and after photosynthesis stops at night, plants, like other living things, use oxygen and emit carbon dioxide.

But does a tree use so much oxygen and emit so much carbon dioxide at night that a person or animal dies beneath it?

So the answer is no. The reasons for this answer are:

* A tree does not move as much, so it requires less energy than animals and humans, so it uses less oxygen and emits less carbon dioxide to produce that energy. It is estimated that the average person emits 100 to 150 grams of carbon dioxide at night, while a 10-ton tree emits only 10 grams of carbon dioxide at night. Sleeping with another person is more dangerous than a tree.

* It should be clear that the tree is in the open air where there is an abundance of oxygen. A tree produces enough oxygen during the day to meet the oxygen needs of both the tree and man during the day and night. According to this calculation, a leafy tree produces enough oxygen in one season to allow 10 people to breathe for a year. Therefore, neither the tree nor the person under it will suffer from lack of oxygen.

 Probably the best reason for you is that there are many animals living in dense forests, many birds living in nests on trees, if this were true then all these animals would die and perish. In addition, many people spend the night burning forest fires (fires also use oxygen and emit carbon dioxide) but get up in the morning to be safe and sound.

So these are just some of the reasons why it is so wrong.

However, it is possible that there is a dangerous animal on or around a tree that is harmful to human life and that is probably why gold under the tree is considered deadly.
